More About the Doctor
Dr. Larkin graduated from the University of Michigan in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Brain Behavior and Cognitive Neuroscience. He graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2014 with a D.D.S degree. Dr. Larkin then pursued specialized training in Pediatric Dentistry at Miami Children’s Hospital. His training focused on providing dental care to children, teens, and chronic patients with special healthcare needs in a hospital and clinical setting. He has extensive training in dental trauma and oral conscious sedation. He also participated in craniofacial clinics where he worked with plastic surgeons, geneticists, and otolaryngologists to provide care for patients with rare skull and face deformities.
Dr. Larkin understands that going to the dentist can be a fearful experience for a child and therefore strives to create a fun, safe, and trusting environment. He encourages parents to be actively involved in developing care plans to ensure a lifetime of good oral health.
In his free time, Dr. Larkin enjoys watching college football, going to the beach, and spending time with his significant other, Trish. He is thrilled to join the Tampa Bay community as a part of Kids Smiles Pediatric Dentistry.
